Lean burn on automotive natural gas engines

Hello All,
I would like to know if anyone has experience on the increase of efficency and emissions with natural gas automotive engines running on lean burn.
Also if any advice for vendors that can supply GM vortec 8.1 turbo or Ford 6.8 turbo on lean burn.

According to the researches of lean-burn natural gas engine, an effective way to improve the thermal efficiency and reduce HC emissions is to use hydrogen-natural gas blends instead of pure natural gas. However, this method might cause an increase of NOx emission, due to the higher flame temperature of hydrogen.
If you are interested in this field, papers written by Fanhua Ma and Zuohua Huang may help you, also, SAE papers are very helpful.
