Description
  
Provide OE support as team member within Engine Business Unit marketing department :
• Support marketing people in new product exhibition and market support
• Support AE to design engine prototype and conduct installation review , and push OEM to improve the issues underlined in the review report
• Provide support for new production introduction , for example , make training plan for OEMs and follow up , regular visit and provide technical support for OEM in trouble shooting  .
• Work out support plan for OEMs
• Support the OEM dealer development
Provide OEM support to distributors & DBs  :
• Support service people in explanation of Cummins warranty claim policy   
• Review and approve the expenses of  non-warranty claim
• Support service people to solve the related service issues of OEMs and key customers
Collect information about quality issues and feedback to Cummins engine suppliers(DEP,CDC,CNS etc.)  and Customer Support Center in Columbus
Qualifications
  
Education  
• Bachelor degree or above
• Major in automobile engineering or mechanics

Working experience
• At least 3 years on-hand service experience in engine industry

Cultural/Language
• Good Command of  English in reading , writing and speaking

Other requirement
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Computer literate
• Frequent business travel is required
• Teamwork skills


Field Test Engineer(EBU) 道路试验工程师-Beijing-110000HA
Description
  
Field test is a real world duty cycle testing of engine and/or vehicle for verifying & validating reliability, durability, serviceability, diagnostics & service readiness, A field test engineer currently manages and supports the vehicles or a fleet running on road within a planned mileage before production, ensure that a powerful engine and/or vehicle with excellent quality is delivered to customers. The field test engineer’s key responsibilities are     
1.Create field test plan based on engineering input (deliverables, schedules and resources).
2.Work with marketing and engineering to decide field test model, vehicles and operation location.
3.Field test readiness before the vehicles or the fleet put into service, including hardware, tooling, logging, vendor contacts, driver training, etc.)
4.Communicate with customer (or driver) for responsibility, coverage, day to day work and event feedback.
5.Communicate with involved distributor or dealer for supporting plan.
6.Create spare parts supporting plan, labor and travel payment method, etc.
7.Define event gathering process, and failure reporting method/tooling. (Including each player involved in the field test, engineering, distributor/dealer technicians, drivers, etc.)
8.Create failure parts return process and location.
9.Engine up-fits, component replacements and software upgrade following engineering testing or improvement.
10.Daily manage and support the vehicles or the fleet, regular data/log update and regular task follow ups. (fluids consumption logging, oil sample, etc.)
11.Failure/issue investigation and supporting.
12.Regular communication (internal/External) and reporting.

道路试验是通过在真实道路上按照实际车辆的使用工况进行的一种试验, 验证发动机或车辆的可靠性、耐久性，验证发动机维修、故障诊断以及其他服务要素的开发的适用性和准确性，在发动机正式投放市场前，道路试验工程师根据项目规划，管理和支持试验车辆或车队在要求的时间内完成一定的试验里程，确保为客户提供高品质的发动机或车辆。其主要职责包括，
1.根据项目规划和工程要求制定道路试验计划。(任务、计划和需要的资源)
2.与市场和工程部门一道决定试验类型、试验车辆和试验区域。
3.在车辆上路前，进行道路试验准备，包括道路试验需要的仪器、工具、资料，驾驶员培训等等。
4.与客户（或驾驶员）交流、沟通，明确其职责、工作和问题报告的方式等等。
5.与道路试验路线内的服务商商议，制定发动机或车辆支持计划。
6.制定零件支持，确定工时和差旅的付款方式，等等。
7.确定问题收集和处理流程，以及故障报告的方式/方法，包括驾驶员，服务商，工程部门等等。
8.确定故障零件返回方式和地点。
9.按照工程部门改进计划或试验计划，执行发动机的改装，部件更新或软件升级。
10.道路试验车辆或车队的日常管理和检查。数据记录的更新，主要任务的跟踪。（液体消耗记录, 润滑油样的定期提取，等等）
11.现场故障/问题调查、分析和支持。
12.数据分析和定期报告。
