POSITION TITLE ：  Senior Supplier Development Manager高级供应商质量/发展经理

Reporting to ：      GSQ&D Global Supplier Quality & Development  Head

Location ：          Shanghai or Hanghzhou


Key operational responsibilities:

1. To develop reliable Suppliers throw assessing Suppliers capability and providing performance improvement methods .To ensure procedure and process steps defined and implemented for new supplier and new project introduction.
2. To provide knowledge lead cross functional teams and support on projects finalized to generate productivity improvement on selected supplier processes  with clear KPIs
3. Work together with Commodity mgr,Suppliers,GSQ&D and Company stake holders to secure product and process industrialization at supplier according with defined timing,Quality specs,Logistic spec and ramp up speed/capacity.
4. Support GSQ&D activities and coordinate action Plan to remove bottlenecks and weaknesses at supplier process to secure a fast and safe ramp up production.
5. Support Supplier organization to fully interact with Company stakeholders,leading meetings,workshops in order to create full alignment on quality and logistic flow parameters
6. Create cross functional teams Company –Suppliers  prioritized with Commodity to analyze all cost drivers ,material ,process parameters,flow,with precise KPIs and create action plans with followup for productivity improvements.


Competencies needed:

1. Project management skills：
a) Ability to coordinate people and set priorities for multiple project activities,with several suppliers delivering to several factories while keeping the set timelines
b) Previous experiences and proven success in communicating and transferring knowledge and suggested changes/improvements between customer and supplier in a proactive way.
c) Factory based experience in delivering product launch.
d) Knowledge of process flow.
e) Undestanding of Product flow: design,tooling,sampling,approval,rumpup,mass production and implication of schedule slippage in one of those areas.
f) Knowledge and experience into productivity improvement methodologies consolidated with application on suppliers

2. Factory based quality management
a) Understanding of SCR and PPM impact at our factories and experience of minimizing SCR and PPM failure, without adding to product cost
b) Experience in  parts qualification and sign off procedures

3. Supplier based quality and process development
a) Experience in guiding suppliers through our expectations, technical documents, specifications and drawings etc.
b) Knowledge of standard Quality procedures

4. Logistics
a) Knowledge about lead time drivers,material flow,planning techniques.

5. Languages: English
