        Bachelor degree or above in engineering                                                       
        Experience with sketcher, assembly module, kinematics                                                       
        Specialized course work to include basic body drafting, basic modeling/component design, and blue print reading.

Essential experience and professional skill requirement                                                               
        Target 5~8 years of diversified component and assembly design experience in automotive.                                                       
        Demonstrated proficiency in currently utilized CAD technology for data file management, modeling, and GD&T etc.                                                       
        Demonstrated proficiency with at least one of the following CAD software: Catia, Unigraphics,                                                        
        Preference will be given to candidates with more than one CAD software capability                                                       
        Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes.                                                       
        Demonstrated ability to apply academic and other design knowledge.                                                       
        Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.                                                       
        Good organizational skills and the ability to successfully coordinate and complete multiple tasks within                                                        
        the department to meet established and changing deadlines.                                                       
             Knowledge of CAE is a plus                                                       
        Knowledge of personal computer (PC) and Microsoft Office

Job description                                                               
1        Generally assigned to increasingly complex components and/or assemblies.                                                         
        Assignments may include programs with new customers or new requirements.                                                        
2        Engages in design and product development of automotive interiors systems, including Overhead System etc.                                                        
3        Provide leaderships for all design team members                                                       
        May provide technical assistance, guidance and training, as needed, to designers regarding best practices.                                                        
4        Assists engineering by generating temporary studies or concept sketches with guidance from Engineering Manager.                                                       
5        Develops 3D CAD models based on engineering input.  Designs and creates complete layouts.                                                        
        Plan and Distribute detail design work to designer, review and monitor the job progress to meet the timing requirement.                                               
6        Verifies requested changes are viable and incorporates the changes as requested.                                                       
7        Assists with verifying component integrity to correct proportional designs based on matls', weight and other details.                                                       
8        Manages CAD data for assigned work based on program/customer requirements.                                                       
9        Maintains current CAD file management practices and individual CAD file data integrity.                                                       
10        Revises and modifies program drawings and or data according to approved changed notices and work orders.                                                       
12        Review and check program specific drawings and charts, as needed.                                                       
13        Review and check GD&T based on direction from Engineering Mgr and sets up schemes with assistance.                                                         
14        Performs dimensional and tolerance studies and with engineering/manufacturing input, basic tolerance stacks,                                                       
15        Consults and collaborates with personnel in various engineering and design activities relative to the product                                                        
              development requirements.                                                         
16        Serves as a liaison to customer design staff and suppliers if placed in an off-site assignment.                                                       
17        Understands and follows existing policies, procedures, work instructions and standards and makes                                                        
        recommendations for continuous improvements.
