Commodity Buyer ( Machining-Parts )

  Responsibilities:
      
      1. Developing and implementing optimal global commodity strategies and strategies for local requirements;
      2. Demonstrating and initiating new local/global sourcing projects;
      3. Constantly evaluating and reviewing current supplier base, determining potential sources, obtaining RFQs and contracts, commercial terms finalized with suppliers;
      4. Driving and monitoring the selection process of new suppliers, from identification of potential suppliers, first contacts, qualification certification, audits, assessments, contracting to the validation of processes;
      5. Maintaining and administrating existing supply chain and activities;
      6. Supporting product launches, initiating supplier base optimization, material cost reductions and localization, keeping control of orders, technical amendments to assure orderly administration and retention of records;
      7. Responsible for targets in alignment with ZF headquarter and responsible for achieving the purchasing targets of the assigned commodities;
      8. Monthly reporting for the concerned commodity.
      
      Qualifications:
      
      1. Bachelor degree with technical background (focus on gears and forging parts machining);
      2. Minimum 6 years work experience in automobile industry field;
      3. Familiar with assigned commodity and Knowledge of Q-Methods, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D and TS16949;
      4. Excellent understanding in cost breakdowns, comparison analysis;
      5. Good negotiation /coordination skills;
      6. Willing to travel domestic and/or oversea, >30% time;
      7. English in writing (minimum requirement).
