7.1        GENERAL

This Section establishes the principles of tolerances of location. Included are position, concentricity, and sym- metry used to control the following relationships:
(a)   center  distance  between  features  of  size  such  as holes, slots, bosses, and tabs
(b)  location of features of size [such as in subpara. (a) above] as a group, from datum features, such as plane and cylindrical surfaces
(c)   coaxiality of features of size
(d)  concentricity  or  symmetry  of  features  of  size— center distances of correspondingly located feature ele- ments equally disposed about a datum axis or plane

7.2        POSITIONAL TOLERANCING

Position is the location of one or more features of size relative to one another or to one or more datums. A posi- tional tolerance defines either of the following:
(a)   a  zone  within  which  the  center,  axis,  or  center plane of a feature of size is permitted to vary from a true
(theoretically exact) position
(b)  (where  specified
