STATIC BENDING MOMENTS
w The static bending moments about the rear face of the block and the front and rear
mounting bracket faces, should be kept as low as possible, but in any case must not
exceed the value listed on the Engine Datasheet. Ä
ENGINE/TRANSMISSION ATTACHMENT
w In the case of an attached transmission, the natural frequency in bending & torsion of
the complete engine/transmission unit must be high enough to avoid damaging stress
from resonance with engine or drive-train excitation forces.
SWAY-SPACE REQUIREMENT
w The movement of the engine package shall be controlled to avoid unintended contact
with the machine structure under all normal operating conditions.
SHOCK ISOLATION
w Frame flexing, shock loads and/or vibration must be isolated to avoid damage to the
engine under normal operating conditions.
