JD-SCS Vehicle Application Engineer

Overall Purpose of Job:
The purpose of the job is to validate XXX slip control products to customer vehicle applications by conducting in-vehicle testing and development using XXX tools and processes. The role also encompasses vehicle level validation to XXX and customer specifications.

Major Responsibilities:
        To support slip control system (SCS) vehicle application projects (including ABS, TC and VSC product applications) in AP market.
        To support SCS system vehicle development/validation testing plan together with internal and external teams (customers) for the responsible projects.
        To interface with customers to understand vehicle level performance requirements and to communicate with customers through informal and formal presentations, meetings and vehicle demonstations.
        To interface and closely work with Customer Applications and SCS product engineering teams to deliver robust vehicle applications to meet the customers' requirements.
        To interface, work closely with and support global SCS vehicle application teams in the delivery of regional vehicle application projects.
        To work closely with other XXX AP teams to ensure project is running smoothly and on time.
        To understand and support XXX vehicle application development and validation processes on vehicle application projects.Key Competencies:• Understand SCS products and control principles (including ABS, TC and VSC)

Qualifications:
        Understand vehicle chassis systems and integration
        Must have high level driving skill for in vehicle testing and development
        Have sound knowledge and understanding in development processes and solutions
        Have good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English languages
        Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally to support vehicle application projects
        Good level presentation skills
        Good level computer skills
        Must be a good team player with leadership qualities
        Should have 2 years experience of the product application and development process in the Automotive industry.
        Educational: BSc or higher in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. (MSc is preferred.)

