KEY ELEMENTS OF THE POSITION:
1.Plan, design and write specifications for the purchase of heat treat furnaces and tooling
2.Troubleshoot and support all heat treat processing throughout the organization
3.Assist in planning items that need corrected on furnaces
4.Project champion for purchase of new furnaces and/or heat treat equipment
5.Champion start up of new equipment and projects that will elevate heat treat to world class standards including gap assessment of current heat treat status and compare to world class standards
6.Benchmark heat treating technology throughout the world
7.Work closely with the maintenance organization to develop and/or maintain a detailed preventative maintenance program
8.Generate new allow designs and test new alloy material for material performance improvements
9.Travel 40%-50%
