Position: Vehicle Simulation Engineer
Job Responsibilities
• Conduct vehicle system simulations tosupport internal/external customers' vehicle development needs in
• Vehicle fuel economy/performancepredictions• Power train matching analyses
• Actual engineering problems solving ona case-by-case basis
• Collect simulation required parametersthrough customer interfaces, tests, theoretical calculations/assumptions, orother information sources
• Create/calibrate vehicle models,conduct simulations, and validate simulation results
• Generate simulation reports and followup each simulated project till program SOP
• Conduct thorough error analysis when anymajor discrepancy exists between simulated and test results
• Generate follow-up reports
• Enhance current standard analysispractices and tools to improve prediction fidelity and execution speed
• Study new functions of commercialvehicle simulation tools
• Improve simulation accuracy/efficiencythrough customized tools/macros
Education:
• Master's Degree inVehicle Engineering or Internal Combustion Engine required, Ph. D preferred Experience/SpecialSkills:
• Minimum 2 years working experience invehicle simulation
•Strong technical knowledge of vehicleengineering theories including detailed understanding of each vehicle systemcomponent, especially the engine and transmission subsystems
• Proficient with vehicle simulationtools Cruise and control tools such as MATLAB
• Strong analytical and problem solvingskills• Excellent language skills in oral andwritten English
