Responsibility:
- Examples of the control system applications include PFI (Port Fuel Injection), tiVCT (Twin-Independent Variable Cam Timing), EcoBoost (turbo-charged direct injection) engine, Automatic Transmissions, Dual Clutch Transmissions (Wet or Dry PowerShift),ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), ESC (Electronic Stability Control), Traction Control, Stop/Start system with conventional Powertrain, HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle), and BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle).
- Examples of the attributes include Drivability / Shift Quality, NVH, Fuel Economy, and Performance.
Requirement:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering with a strong background in Control Systems methodology is required
- Master degree (or PhD degree) with emphasis on Control (including modeling and analysis, control synthesis, and embedded software) is preferred.
- Industrial control application experience is highly desirable
- Experience in Classic Control Theory and Practice (PID/LQ Control, Frequency Domain Controller design and analysis, Dynamic System Modeling) is required.
