Reviewing designs in Catia V5 software and JT format to ensure they met
FORD Die Design and Press Standards.
Overseeing daily activities of design liaison engineers
Managing and tracking progress of multiple programs to ensure all critical
milestones are met and informing management of any issues/delays.

Supervision of subordinators carrying out following activities:
Liaise vuith various tooling suppliers to establish design capacity within the
region
Liaise with various tooling suppliers to check and ensure designs are
acceptable to FORD stds
Continue to develop and establish robust die standards for LCC
Liaise and review with process/simulation engineers to facilitate issue
resolution
.Liaise and review to ensure robust stamping processes for all components
May require infrequent travel within APA suppliers to support design reviews

Qualifications:
Automotive, Manufacturing background
5-8 years related working experience
Excellent understanding of Catia VS or Unigrapi,ics, AutoCAD
In depth understanding of Die Design and Sheet Metal Forming including
Knowledge of Die Design and Standards
Knowledge of Stamping Presses and equipment
Understanding of Metal Forming Simulation(FEA)
Excellent written and verbal communication in English is essential
May be required to travel
Flexibility to both multi task and have a broad understanding of overall stamping
business will be highly regarded
